Walter Giovanniello


Born July 30, 1984. degree in industrial design at the University of Florence in 2007, he continued his training in Milan where, from 2008 to 2010 working with: Claudio Bellini, Mario Bellini Architects, Odoardo Fioravanti, Francesco Castiglione Morelli and Materioteca. In 2010 he moved to Alexandria, where he specialized in "Design, plastics and injection molding" at Propellant (Plastics innovation pole) In 2011 he moved to Bologna where now live and work. Interested in all fields related to design, his care and research ranging from crafts to industry, from processing of ceramic to injection molding, from interweaving of the wicker to mechanical engineering.

Quotidiana comes from the observation of a small gesture that in many repeates several times a day: turn a cup to his mouth to drink coffee. It is a gesture that steals and gives time, it is a moment of pause but also of charge, so the handle of the cup draws the keys of office of the old pendulum clocks, expressing our daily reality, the relationship between time and everything Italian coffee.
